John is a FA Level 2 qualified coach, with eight years’ experience having taken a previous team from u6-u14’s.

Ovenden West Riding u12 Alpha  play in the Austria division of the Huddersfield League. It is a high ability team which finished the season unbeaten in its last 11 fixtures, earning a reputation as one of the toughest opponents in the division. 

The current u12 Alpha’s team was developed from a small group of siblings of players in this team, who would participate in fun, skill-based activities whilst their older brothers trained. 

​​Although not currently recruiting new players; anybody with an interest in joining the team is welcome to come to a training session to meet the group.
